&Splore

Went to my first Splore in the weekend and I can safely say it was one of the craziest experiences of my life. It's basically a playground for people from the age 3 to 63 filled with fun activities, workshops, music and great attitudes....
Everything about the place is designed to give the punter something more than your everyday festival. The art trails, the beach, the weather, the relaxed alcohol atmosphere, the dressing up, the performances and the music all intertwine to make one massive ball of amazingness.
I don't know anywhere else in the world where you can be sipping on your beer and watching the tunes on the main stage in 26 degree heat, locating in the ocean featuring warehouse Lilo. Paradise.

In case you haven't realised by now. I loved every minute. Can't wait for 2012.

I spend all day at my computer. Writing scripts, perusing the net or sitting in front of it drawing. This is where my mouse goes. I think it looks really cool. You should try it out. Search mousepath.jar

It is no secret how much I enjoy stop motion.
But if anyone should ever attempt this technique, please please, check out this work by Alan Poon.
This guy deserves a 'wow' and an 'amazing' followed by a huge pat on the back.
I particularly enjoy the dancing crow.

&Yellow

So I tried the new yellow flavoured chocolate bar produced for the Yellow Pages campaign out of BBDO. The Yellow tree house was always going to be a tough act to follow, so will be interesting to see how this campaign fares in the awards.

Personally I don't think it tastes too flash. More like cigarette lollies than yellow. Website is also pretty putu... But the industry is notorius for slagging other agencies work so I'm just going to sit on the fence.
Worth a try///
